Bray “45/50” custom-built Plexi head with the
Mod 1 Plus. On the first two sections, the amp is in Mod 1 mode, on the last
part it's in Mod 1 PLUS mode. All of the Mod 1 sounds are available, with
the option of a higher gain PLUS mode for even more musical drive. The first
section is a Les Paul, the others are a strat copy w/ a Duncan '78 PAF in
the bridge. The PLUS section has the mids turned back, in addition to the
Deep Switch engaged.

bridge. Some parts include the MXR Phase 90, MXR Flanger, and Maestro Echoplex,
all of which were placed between the guitar and amp. Some reverb was added
after recording to the right side only.

Marshall 1987x modded for
Studio 58A
in Italy. Using only two push/pull switches, this amp was modded
to have classic Marshall tones, as well as Mod/Rework I tones. The
first part of the clip uses a Les Paul w/ PRS 8s for the more classic
sounds, the second half uses a Strat w/ a Duncan '78 in the bridge
for the Mod/Rework I tones. |
